Amplifier Advice

Removing and replacing all the stereo equipment in my 2004 Star, and now I need some advice on the number, type, and size of amplifiers. Running all new 14 AWG to speakers, 12 AWG to subwoofer. Two battery setup in the boat, one starting, one house (type 31 AGM).

New FUSION 650 Head unit and remote/controller.

I am thinking two AMPs to run the system, but want to get some good ones that will handle future upgrades (better tower speakers, better/additional subs).

The Fusion has 3 RCA Line outs (3 zones), each with a sub out.

Questions:
One amp to run the cabin speakers and one to run tower/sub?
6/5/4 Channel for the 6 Cabin Speakers?
What type of AMP for the Tower/Sub?
JL, Wetsounds, or other for the Amps?

Two Wet Sounds HTX-6 would be my pick. This is 100W rms for each in-boat, 300W rms for the woofer and 300W rms for each tower speaker.

Wetsounds. If you plan on running rev 8 or 10's they are power hungry and are underestimated on capacity

if you want to leave room for a 2nd identical 4 ohm 10" or upgrade to a single 2 ohm 12", then go with a HTX-1 dedicated for the woofer. 300W to your current woofer @ 4 ohm or 600W to two 4 ohm 10" woofers or a single 12" 2 ohm woofer.

or a pair Wet Sounds SDX-6. One for in-boats, one for a pair of tower speakers and single 4 ohm woofer. This would leave room to upgrade to 4 ohm 12" woofer. You could even work it out to add a 2nd 10" 4 ohm woofer, with no real drop in the in-boats. Power available for those future Rev-10.
