  • Ballast timers 08 x45

    Hi all
I'm told that I should have 20 minute timers. Wondering if there is a way to tell? I found the box on the port side locker. It was covered with 3 breakers. I'm gonna get mor in depth tommorow. But before I disconnect pumps and start to program I just want to see if there is a way to tell ahead of time.

6 minute timers have "version 1.1" on the label. 20 minute timers have "Revision 4.0" on the label.

The only difference between the 6 minute and 20 minute timers is the timer's firmware. Electronically they are identical. Both are notoriously unreliable.

If you are having problems with them such as running for a short time then turning off or filling but not emptying then I can fix them with a firmware update. Lots of info here:
