2012 X30 Extra Ballast

I picked up a used 2012 x30 with new touchscreen added by dealer with the latest software. I used the Wakemakers kit to add in extra piggy pack ballast bags.

The dealer said just use the profile settings and fill the tanks to 100% and then hit the switches to fill the bags. First time out yesterday and the tanks filled but could not get the bags to fill at all.

Any tips or solutions that I can do or do I have to take it to the dealer for them to adjust the full times.

Also had the PP seem to quit mid pull a few times. Will the Nauti logic or some other GPS add on work with this setup?

Also do a search on here about how to set up your ballast timers, lots of info on it. Its a sequence on the toggle switches and then you adjust the number or flashes to lengthen how long your pumps will run for.

Since 2012 was the odd year were they used Medallion electronics, did the dealer install Medallion or did they install a Murphy display that has been used every year except 2012. If it's a Murphy display, you can adjust the fill times in the overall boat settings. I have no idea about medallion.

There is no easy way to adjust the fill/ empty times on a 2012. Options are to add extra pumps and wiring in parallel to the factory system or rewire the factory system to let the system fill, then when it shuts off thinking it's full, flip switches that signal relays to continue powering the ballast until it's actually full/ empty.

Temporary fix is to cycle the switches after every 30 second time out.

It’s a new touch screen which I believe is the Medallion. I tried cycling the switches to get the pumps to run another cycle to fill the bags but they didn’t seem to come on I tried a couple of times and no water was pumped into the bags. I’ll post a pic of the screen.

Is this for the Medallion screen?

If I remember correctly, they will cycle on after the system says it's full, but they only run for a short time. It takes a lot of switch cycles to get them full.
