Typically, when starting, I get a check engine warning tone until I bump the key and the engine starts and the tone goes away. Today, no tone and it won't fire. All accessories work and the engine turns over. All sounds normal, but it won't fire. I checked all fuses and all breakers. Replaced the coil. No change. Biggest change to the normal daily procedure is the absence of the audible tone and no red check engine light prior to bumping the key. Any thoughts?

This sounds really silly, but have you checked your emergency killswitch? I only ask because I've made this mistake myself before, and the fact that you don't get the audible beep makes me wonder if your starter is turning the engine but the ignition is disconnected due to the safety lanyard. Wild guess....but possible.

Thx. I checked the lanyard and when removed it won't even turn over. Also checked throttle position. No luck there either. Changed distributor cap, plugs, rotor and coil. Still no spark. It makes me think its something electrical prior to the engine. But the normal buzzing from the control module occurs, gauges come up, just no spark.

Sounds like a relay went bad. Had a similar problem where it won't start and the check engine light doesn't turn on. A relay at the back right of the engine (towards the front left of your boat) had gone bad, presumably not supplying power to the ECU.
