Your tach should be connected to the ignition coil. Check all the connections and make sure they are clean and making good contact. Try disconnecting the negative and reconnecting it. I assume your 2002 utilizes the MMDC module for controlling the digital gauges. There are several threads on diagnosing/trying to repair errant gauges.Comment
