Thought you guys might want to see what the NEW MCX with the ETX CAT exhaust loks like. Testing shows performance equal to or better than the MCX with conventional ETX manifolds.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. Looks like the manifolds are on backwards, though...

The catalyst exhaust system reduces exhaust emissions dramatically. It reduces Hydrocarbon (HC) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) to less than 5 grams combined and reduces Carbon Monoxide (CO) to extremely low levels.

Is it true that a closed cooling system will be required as well?

No, closed cooling is not required. The systsm works fine with raw water cooling.

hey enginenut, have any extras lying around, i'd be willing to throw one in my boat and give it a test run.

nut would this bring the ability to have a closed loop system?

Yes, the system has oxygen sensors in each manifold right before the catalyst so it runs in closed loop up to about 4200 RPM.

Kind of funny, it's not even in a boat, and you still can't see any of the BLOCK... There is ALOT of "stuff" on there.....
