where can one buy fuel pickup or sender?

First of all, long time stalker, first time posting. Good to be here and hoping to post some pictures this coming summer.
To those in here that´s been here a while, i bought karskens old black 1987 prostar 190 after he sold it to one who didn´t quite take care of it. So i´m getting it more in ship shape again.
To do that i need the fuel sender/pickup(i belive it´s called) The hose inside the fuel tank. Cause i had some problem with the fuel delivery. When loaded and pushing "alot" of water the engine died. Changed fuelpump(faulty bco. gas in oil) fuel filter(old) now it´s the fuel lines turn. And the fuel line in the tank. Any suggestion. Btw, new holley carb, and working fine when not having too much ballast, just 4 ppl

I had to repower that boat since the cam broke++++ so i got i cheap from PO. But after repower the engine diyng under alot of ballast sent water in the exhaust, in to all port side cyl(tried to surf the boat :P) this hyd locked no8 cyl and no 567 was beyond honing. So new repower :P
But cant wait to get her back on the water
So, any suggestion on where to buy this fuel line that´s inside the tank?

Congrats on coming out.....oh, wait - that doesn't sound right. Good to hear you are making things right after someone neglected their boat. Check out SKIDIM. They are av great resource. Be sure to get one of their catalogs.

I've checked with them a out this before, and they said it was a mc original part? Any place online?
Or i could just modify this one and cut of the ball springy valve and just have a hose. But i would like to know that if i have a fuel leak it wouldnt siphon all the fuel into the bilge :O

I was incorrectly thinking you were looking for the sending unit. What is wrong with your fuel pick-up.

Have you checked the fuel tank vent located on the transom? They have been known to cause some problems.

Havent inspected it per say(looked only like a tube), but i did tape it up, BUT i also opened the fuel filler cap before it happened as to get air into the tank. But i know what you were thinking I´m pretty much left with options pickup, fuel lines colapsing (but this again most likly will happen if resistance in fuel flow is to big right?)
Still, nice to have a project to keep me bizzi on the net
