  • Need part # for pickup coil

    Looking to buy a pickup coil for my distributor, anyone know the correct part # or what GM truck application might be the same?

    1995 Prostar 190 5.7 TBI

    It looks like I can change it out easily enough without pulling the distributor as it does not go around the shaft, it's a half moon shape. (sorry no pics)
    I was njskier on here.

    Dave I can take a photo of mine and text it to you tonight if it helps. Everything I've bought lately was a direct fit for a 1995 Chevy K1500 pickup with the 5.7

      +1 on the 1995 Chevy C/K 1500. GM part number is 10495089

      If it doesn't go around the shaft it may be an aftermarket or newer distributor. In 1996 Prostar 190 the pickup surrounds the coil and you have to remove the distributor drive gear to replace it.
