  • Correct spark plugs for 1994 Pro Star 205

    Good morning everyone,
Having a hard time finding the recommended spark plugs for my 1994 Pro Star 205. Also, will this engine/ignition system support using the iridium style spark plugs and f I can find a cross reference based on the original plug specifications? Thank you.

Which engine? Google 1994 indmar engine manual and you can look up all ya need about the engine service.

If base 5.7 AC delco mr43t or cross.

Here's the manual for your boat. Download and print it off. I use it all the time!

I'll assume you have the standard engine, your plug would be the AC Delco MR43T

Mine is the LT1 and I use AC Delco MR43LTS

You really won't see a benefit in using platinum or iridium plugs in the engines without catalytic converter exhaust. Those engines rum pretty rich and platinum and iridium plugs like to be a little on the lean side. Stay with conventional plugs in your 1994 engine ... either MR43T if you have a TBI or MR43LTS if you have an LT-1.
