TBI engine sputtering/dying until warmed up

I was out yesterday and a lot of members were at the lake so I had an hour or so between each set. When I would start up the engine the RPMs were erratic and it would die if I didn't rev it up a bit. After about 30 seconds of this it would be fine and work normally.

I didn't have time to look at potential culprits yesterday, but what should I look for next time I go out?

Look at the 97 TBI thread below, some good ideas in there - ECT was his culprit of dying. They even have a NAPA crossover part listed in the thread - good luck.

My local NAPA punched in the indmar number and cross referenced it in their computer.

If the ECT is your culprit. Coil could be an issue, ICM could also be an issue also.
