Should be the F6B impeller, unless things have changed. That's sort of the standard impeller for inboard boats.

got mine from Amazon. Sherwood $33.00 Ilmore 6.2 replaced every other year which is about 200 hours. No failures.

And there is that. I've been looking for other options to Amazon as well. The Amazon shipping edge has been slipping with the CV and their prices seem to be creeping up as well. If I can buy local or from a small web business for within 10 - 20% (depending on total cost) I'll go anywhere other than Amazon.

I've never had to replace the impeller since I bought our X46. We have the 7.4 engine.
Is that a different impeller than the 6.2?
              Appreciate the assistance.

If you’ve never changed it you need to. No matter what engine.

And they are the same impeller

Anything over 2 seasons or 100hours - change it now if longer than that, and buy a lottery ticket as you have been lucky...

Replace mine every season ( 80-100hours) and keep the old one in the boat just in case. Mine is a 30 minute / 1 beer job for a summer of peace of mind.
                  Cheers

Does anyone else take theirs out as part on the winterization process? I take mine out inspect place it baggy (so it does not dry out) every winter.

I used to and it's recommended but don't anymore. Like others I've gone to a every other year schedule along with the trans fluid regardless of the northern low hour seasons we have up here. 30 hours for us is pretty typical.
