What Work did you do on your Mastercraft Today?

This is what i did today. It turned out great can't wait to be in the water again.

This may be a stupid question but, is that a rope guide hanging from the middle of the tower. I have seen a few of these before, but im not quite sure what the exact purpose for them is. Is it for a camera?

Ya its painted... i did it the last two days. The color matched perfect, and ya thats a trekka camera mount on the tower. and i fabbed up some rear facing tower lights, ill put some pics on when i get the paint done on them and mounted up.

Skiing friend repaired my plastic winter cover with some needed 2x4 supports. Winter around here has been tuff. Soory to all those MC owners but my cars take the limited garge space over the boat. The way I see it snow is water just frozen!

What, no pics? I am contemplating adding a rear tow eye as well.

Will definitely get some pics for you, honestly took more time removing the priceless vent in order to not crack it then I did actually installing it. Didnt even have to climb in the boat with the vent removed I was able to access everything from the hole in the rear of the transom.

Tips...

-measure 23,432,423,432 times drill once
-start the drill in reverse to avoid cracking the gel then go in forward
-started with a tiny hole then graduated to the 3/8 required for the studs


Other then that it was smooth thank god it is straight!

True that. But, boats are only supposed to be wet on the bottom. Cars can be wet on top, just like my wife.

these are the lights that a mounted on the tower... they turned out great. and they are on a remote that is on my keys so i can have them on tarping and still shut them off.

Dropped her off at the interior shop and discussed the plan of attack. Carpet first then a very nice tribute to the original style interior my 83' came with. Should look killer, same color a nice tough vinyl and some careful attention to my office chair since I will be spending alot of time driving this year.

Cant wait to get her back!
