The wiring harness in the tower already had power. In the center box at the top of the tower there were four circuits, one labeled for the anchor light, one for white dome lights, one for rear facing lights and one for red dome lights. The red dome light is live whenever the battery switch is on. I got the button on Amazon, here is a link:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P9X7BR1...roduct_details

It looks like the icons on the buttons have changed, but you may be happy with one of the ones they offer, or may be able to reach out to them to request one you do like.

First, I installed a custom dome light. I couldn’t really tell how bright it will be (full daylight), but it is 2ea 3W LEDs, so it should do well. The button in the center turns them on and off. I have 2 more of the LEDs if I need to add more light. Here’s a link to the LED bolts I used (3W Stainless): https://www.oznium.com/led-bolts-prewired-leds/led-bolt

I really like how you don’t even notice them unless you know they are there, and I wired the switch light to be on whenever the battery switch is on, so it’s easy to find in the dark.

Since I pulled the Tower Speakers and their forward facing lights, I wanted something for docking, so...

As I mentioned, I pulled the 4 stock Mastercraft Speakers, and replaced them with Roswell R1 Pro Tower speakers. Special thanks to Roswell and Wakemakers for getting me a pair with Mastercraft Tower clamps. As far as I know, mine is the only Mastercraft with these mounted. They sound and look great. We’ll see how the plastic holds up. Looking at these pics, I should have taken some without the LEDs on to show that he areas that are showing up as blue are white when the LEDs are off (or in broad daylight where the LEDs can’t overpower the sun). Sorry that some of these pics are sideways, I hate it when TT does that.

I temporarily put them on the lower side of the wrap-around windshield and taped the renewal sticker to the inside of the glass to use on the hull when I get my domed numbers. A little tackey but legal for now

To drive those Roswells, I replaced the stock Clarion with a Fusion Apollo system:

I wanted something lower profile (and cheaper to replace if it got hit by a wayward wakeboard) so I went with the Fusion wireless remote on the stern. I’m manufacturing an ABS bezel that will cover the screw holes on either side of the remote.

Although the carpet is in pretty good shape, I’m a big fan of Deckadence, so I pulled the carpet out and laid out what I ordered from Jim’s Marine Flooring. He did a great job cutting it from his pattern.

And finally, I added a HangTyte anti-pooling device to my cover. Every boat I’ve ever owned that had a tower has had one of these. Water never pools on the cover, and living in the Seattle area where liquid sunshine is a real thing, keeping pools off your cover keeps the interior much nicer.

I also sprayed the cover with Rustoleum Never Wet, but no pics of that.

All I have left on my list is getting the firmware on my 7” Murphy screen updated (some of you may have noticed that I was trying to update it when I took pics of the Deckadence), getting the bezel for the stern wrapped up, getting my DomedNumbers installed and cleaning/waxing it before it goes in the water. As a side note, does anyone have any great ideas for temporarily applying numbers while I wait for DomedNumbers? I’ve got another month before they get here.

    It’s getting close!

Looks great! I've been toying with this as well, and really like the Y versus the T style. Would love to know your thoughts after you test it out.

So I’m getting the new to me X25 ready for the water and got the FAE installed. Here’s some pics:

I’ve had an FAE on every inboard I’ve ever owned, but this is the first time I went with the 1 piece pipe, and I really like the look of the Y pipe. I also opted for the trim tab braces as opposed to the swim deck mount. I think it turned out well.

Those guys at http://freshairexhaust.com do great work. Up for tomorrow, rub rail docking lights & getting started on Clarion —> Fusion upgrade.

    Summer Prep

Replaced one of the ballast pumps on the center tank, and got MC approved for replacement bimini - both under warranty! Nearest dealer in Augusta GA was awesome and made it all happen. Also picked up a new surf sleeve (mine had worn out from the sun) and new surf board. Going to be a great summer!
