Just kidding! I made this as a jack stand brake and kind of a stilt. The springs on the back of my suburban are pretty soft for 4wheeling. If I put drop hitch on that is low enough to get the trailer on it the boat doesn't ride level. With the right drop hitch to get the boat level the jack will not raist the boat enough to get it off of the tongue.
Busy day, pulled out POS seat PO had made; anyone that can send/post some pics of a 88 Prostar 190 back seat would be great so I have a visual to make a seat.
Once seat was out pulled gas tank to clean it, replaced terminal ends due to corrosion, gast tank sender was only secured with two screws so had to redrill attaching holes to match gas tank bolt pattern
replaced fuel line, and installed vent/blower duct hose as it was missing.
Took my '84 S&S to the audio shop for a new radio with CD and IPOD hook up and a couple of new speakers. I didn't do the work...which is probably a good thing but it was work that got done.
Tim you should be out on harding...the water was 60 degrees today! I was in a 3/2 and comfortable...Mike
Hey Mike, we would have been there but my wife had an all day class. Likewise, she has class today but hoping it will be over by noon so we can get some lake time.
We did make it out last Sunday and it is supposed to hit 80 today.
Gonna give her a little pat on the nose as I get the snowmobiles ready to go for a ride today I thought I saw a shiver and a smile the other day when we left the garage on the sleds Still snowing in WI today! Another inch yesterday, trying to stretch the sledding season. The teak is in the basement looking for some TLC-maybe March

In order to pull the teak, do you have to take out the gas tank in order to get to the other side of the teak platform bolts? My teak could probably use a little tightening, and the guy I bought it from said I would have to do this in order to tighten them up. Thanks

Sorry for your snow today. Our temp was right at 80F today!
Progress feels soooooo slow and summer cant come soon enough
I did some more fiberglass work on the fenders for the trailer for the ol 78 today (more sanding, cleaning, glassing). Wiped down the entire top side from all the dust and garage debris from working on the racecar. And resealed the rudder and fins with 3m 4200... (Free Tip - have a GOOD caulk gun).

So, I have no where to store the boat while I work on the trailer....
Thus I have to do it with the boat on the trailer. Pics are not that good but you get the picture. Just the first few layers of glass repairing cracks and missing corner in the left fender. (no bondo yet) Also installed the new ying yang stickers. Not perfect but aligned with the stars.
