What Work did you do on your Mastercraft Today?

Boy do those pictures take me back. I grew up in St Paul. You must be dreaming of those "10000 Lakes" Hopefully they'll thaw soon.

It will be back in the 50's in a weeks time. The cool weather is a big help for the folks along the rivers here and downstream. It mostly shut down the melt and may lessen the max height of the flood waters though it will certainly draw out the length of high water.

NOS Tach installed today...

Got the New/Old-Stock TACH installed today and operational.... (those who have seen my updates in the past knew the old tach was internally broken and tilted.)

Got it off of ebay. Very similar to the orig one but not exact. Outside was black instead of chrome. Sanded off the black paint, then steal wooled, and polished the trim ring.

Needed some different wiring but its good now! And while I was burried under the dash I fixed the dash lights right away too. (Bad ground)... And maybe fixed the fuel gauge too!

We will see. No work on the fender lately but coming again soon....(Racecar is taking priority)

Got back to work on the MasterCraft today at the shop...

-drilled out all the bad rivets behind the previously removed rub rail insert
-reinstalled my foot rest under the dash
-resinstalled all the proper screws for both floor sections
-installed ski pylon
-removed all the decals I want to replace, re installed one star on the starboard side that was knicked
-transom script all removed, will reinstall new decals from Jim (thanks again) after buff.
-finally fixed all my trailer lights, had a bad ground
-trimmed excess carpet from installer around motor mount area

Thats all for today.

Removed old decals, buffed, man does it shine now, amp went on back order so ordered a JL Audio M400/4 400W 2/3/4 Channel Marine Amplifier a little more than the other one but I think I will be much happier with the JL versus a Clarion. Replaced my 2 pitot speedo's (livorsi) with their GPS ski speedo's; their for sale if anyone is interested white face w/ PSS rims, dont' worry I still have all my original gauges for you purists out there, will get some pics up soon.
