And today...full Polish and Wax on both MC and Seadoo. Wolfgang Polish Swirl remover - yellow pad, Ardex Miami Carnuba - black pad, then hand seal with Meguiars Sealant. Dose of Lexol Vinylex for interior, Flitz polish for the pylon. Had one spot on interior that the ole Colgate toothpaste trick did get it out.

Shampooed the carpet, put in two new thermostats and put a new top on the throttle body, touched up the front engine paint after thermostat change.

Added the JL bluetooth adapter to the head unit, and cleaned out the mud-dobber nests inside the Bimini top.

It is impossible for me not to read your posts in a strong Hollywood Russian accent. I apologize.

Broken board from tick. Replaced with larch. In Russia, this waterproof conifer is easily accessible and very inexpensive 10 times cheaper than a teak board. Amplifiers are also made of larch. See how everything will be with long-term exposure to water. The density of the tree is comparable to a tick. If everything works out, then I will redo the platform entirely from larch.

I picked the hottest day of the year to replace the bunks, but it is done. Went out and took a ski run early. Turned the boat over to my son and is friends. Replaced the bunks and went back and wakeboarded with them in the evening.

Make sure you tighten those hose clamps regularly. I put mine on last season and did a few "wiggle" checks throughout the season. Did the same this season and at the end of a week long trip, I was swimming up to the platform and noticed both pipes had come out of their connections and the whole thing was hanging by the two vertical bolts. I probably drove 5 miles with it like that based on the fact that people at camp said, "Yeah, I noticed the boat seemed a lot louder when you left."

Replaced fore bilge pump in my 2012 X2

Very simple and easy, took maybe 5 minutes. Replaced with the same model Johnson Pump Ultima Bilge 800 GPH, model 32-47259-003 from MC Parts Depot. Old model had a bad o-ring or something, spun up but didn't pump. Obviously destroyed seal inside when disassembled.

Interesting tidbit is that SPX Flow, which makes these pumps, doesn't have any spare parts for them. At $60ish each they aren't too pricey but it should be repairable. Meh.

Also, had a dream last night where my boat was sinking and the bilge didn't work. Fun.

I discovered that 9 of the 16 lag bolts that hold my trailer bunks in place had fallen out. The remaining 6 were barely doing their job. The original bolts were 5/16”. Fortunately the trailer holes will accept a 3/8” lag bolt so I was able to replace them and get a fresh bite on the wood. Next year I’ll replace the bunks completely but this fix should get me thru the season.
