  • Sorry, I didn't get any pics on yet. I picked up the boat the weekend before our big ice storm here in DFW, so getting some anti-freeze in it was a big priority at the time. Tomorrow morning I'm planning on washing everything and taking some pics. You wouldn't believe how much pollen we have around here right now.

Here's a pic from when I looked at the boat before buying it.

    • Trying to decide if I am going to detail the X-45 until after the pollen "dump." She is clean now; however, I like to do a spring thorough cleaning. Thoughts?

2 in solid steel bar? Not a chance. Thickest at 2in is .120

180 degree bend. Minimum Wall Thickness - .095”. Maximum Wall Thickness – .120”.

It's a JD Squared manual bender that I converted to hydro-bender.

          • Well...

Not as exciting as a new boat but....

I replaced the broken speedo glass in one of my speedos, and laid down a coat of primer on the fender I have been repairing....

Installed Holley 750 double pumper I had rebuilt along with a new alternator. Replaced engine compartment blower hose and adjusted shaft seal. Made wish list of things I want to add to boat. Loaded up and went to the lake.

Dang that looks good. I think you should stick a Prostar decal on there now.

                      • Owned it three days, now. It's parked in my brother's "back forty" till my wife and I get back from a week vacation. Since it'll rain over this next week, just after these were taken, I covered it up with a new tarp. Can't wait to get in the driveway to wax it and prepare it for the water.

                        • TT tip: When it rains and your boat is outside, make sure the plug is always out. Unless your on the water... then not so much!

                          Great looking Sammy you have!
