The tweeters come with their own simple x-overs. So you could probably use them as is. We had a spare 2 channels in one of the amps with integrated electronic x-over, so on top of that we have added 12dB slope @ 1.2kHz. I may play with that setting later.

You need JL Audio M100-CT-SG-WH 1" tweeters and JL Audio MTPOD-M100-CL billet aluminum pods.

The extra pair really improves the clarity of the sound for the driver.

Love this wheel so much I’m considering swapping to this wheel on my XT22. What shaft did you end up using to make it work?

Since this Gussi wheel (like most modern wheels) uses tapered hub, not a splined one which was originally used on my 2007 X2, I had to install the new Teleflex SH91800P ($115) tilt steering mechanism as well.

I had the latest PerfectPass GPS Star Gazer and the new Gussi steering wheel ($145) installed.

The later required a new upgraded Teleflex SH91800P ($115) tilt steering as well, as the shaft on the Gussi wheel was different.

Great update and documentation. Have you considered updating all of your Classic speaker grills with the Sport grills to match the sub? I did that on my 2005 X10 and I was surprised how much it “freshened” up the look of the interior. I would only do it on the main drivers and leave the tweeters as is.

I'm considering this. But I may end up replacing the speakers. The old ones sound avg at best.

I was hoping the new amps would bring some improvement over the old JL Audio M6450 amp they replaced, but that is not the case.

I may go with the tower speakers first.
