This is what I used. The rubber is a product called Mister Landscaper. It's hollow core rubber. Cost about $5 at Lowes for 30 feet. I like it alot better since it's not so stiff as the OEM rubber. It allows my surfer room to fit in the fingers. I tried a lot of different glues and this was the best one. Down side is that one tube will only do 2 strips. But it's strong and dries in seconds.
Wet sanded, compounded and waxed my x30. My hands are like lobster claws, but the black pops now. Still a few scratches here and there, but not to bad for my first time wet sanding on a gel coat. I have to say the McGuires flagship marine wax is pretty awesome. We will see how it holds up in the AZ sun.
I'm 100% satisfied with the highs and tower speakers. They're insanely loud! However, not so wild about the subwoofer location. With the observer seat opem, this thing rocks. Crazy loud. With the seat closed it muffles the sound and just shakes the boat. Not a lot of audible bass. In the weeks to come, I will move it around and reevaluate what I want to do with it. All in all I'm pretty damn happy!

Used 3M's heavy duty compound on the top deck and finished it with 3M's Finesse-It. I'll need to do another round of compound on the metal flake, but things are looking shinny!
Removed the old MC domed decals............in with the 2011 new ones!! And a big coat of wax, guess it wasn't work I did today but also climbed into the engine compartment and cleaned every surface I could reach, hoses, fiberglass, pumps, etc. Interior got a solid scrubbing, protectant, carpet cleaned, tower, sink, bathroom, everything cleaned and shined up for the summer. Finally Ready.
1983 MasterCraft Stars and Stripes Cream/Red Metal Flake"Powerslot" "The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of GREED-the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of all men will pass, and dictators die and the power they took from the people will return to the people and so long as men die Liberty will never perish."
