    • Put in a double string of LED lights for interior. Got the bow, both side storage areas, and a few under driver area. They can be controlled remotely, change in 4 colors, fader, and even flash; little remote with the kit: $19 at amazon, got two and plugged together, run off ACC 2. Try to get pictures tonight if the rain stops from remnants of Harvey.

              • The labor day weekend has been pretty much a washout here so I started (dare I say it) the winterization process. Fist step this year is fresh coat of wax. Next will be the interior detail.

Why? Brighton isn't in the north tundra -- you can get at least 6 more week - more if you can scrounge a crew with wet suits - but I will agree - the temps are more like late Sept than Early Sept.

Yeah I hear you there but I'm on Pontiac Lake and they've already pulled the plug on the lake. We're down 20" from spring and 2" from last week. I pulled my boat off the lake last Monday and took it to our cottage on Lake Erie. I'll try to get a couple more hours out there but the water seems to get cold quicker on the big lake.

We're still skiing Pontiac but now we're down to slalom behind the brother in law's Malibu Response. Even with that low draft boat the lift is all the way down to slide it off. The last stand will most likely be on Oxbow lake and my buddy's 2012 X2 for some wet suit/dry suit surfing.

The end of this season seems to be really getting compressed early this year.

                    • Wax the top and 303 interior. next the hull again. Purchased fuel stabilizer and plumbing antifreeze and all the oils and filters for winterizing in two weeks.

                          • I realized that I had no brake fluid and bled the system tonight. I will be bleeding again tomorrow after a ride to see if I can get it working again. The frustrating thing is that every thing was replaced last winter.......

                            • Drum or disc brakes? If drum you could have a bad wheel cylinder leaking all the fluid out. If disc and you didn't keep an eye on the fluid when you replaced all the components the level may have gotten low when the pads seated. Just experienced this first hand myself.

                              • Disk. I should have checked it closer when I picked it up to the mechanic. Even though I am quite handy, I paid for the job to be completed. There are people far less competent than I that wouldn't have checked. I would think the mechanic would have seated the pads. Oh well, a bleed is easy. Thanks for letting me know what happened as I was baffled because I can't see any leaks.
