Over the weekend I...

1. Upgraded head unit and remotes to JL

2. Replaced old amp with a new JL amp (M800/8)

3. Replaced all the audio wires with new AAMP wires

4. Replaced the dated JL grills with newer ones

5. Added a WetSounds 420-BT EQ

6. Added a new garbage can door sourced directly from MC

Updated horn button 12’-14’ and billet gas cap

Decided to check out the bearings for some spring maintenance and found the starboard rear to be straight up busted. Went ahead and got two threaded bearing buddies to replace the reliable caps and two pound in bearing buddies for the new hubs I had installed a couple years ago. A lot more peace of mind to have that positive pressure on the grease rather than the old oil bath.

Also got a new 8 foot four gauge battery cable made to replace this terribly corroded and rusted piece of crap

same here.. all done.. washed and waxed and need to put in my TR-7 this week then ready to put back on the lift .. ice went out on Sunday.. yea!

I go it off eBay. But Mc parts has them. Just unscrew and screw in the new one and plug up the 2 wires

My beloved Carter fuel pump finally started showing signs of impending failure after replacing module some 10 years ago. I replaced the pump with the Airtex 2044 I ordered but a 2065 came instead. Its the same pump with just some additional accessories.

Cause of pump failure was due to brush no longer floating in the brush holder. This caused intermittent pump operation.

New pump in and holding pressure nicely.
