Well since it rained almost all day and no skiing, changed oil/filter and transmission fluid.

Pulled my drivers seat out to try and figure out how to fix it. The two bolts holding it down pulled through when I was doing a bat turn in our Labor Day show!2002 Blue Prostar 197, 0 Flex Tower, Perfect Pass, and The Preditor-ADHD Skier
I'm pursuing my lifelong quest for the perfect, the absolutely driest martini to be found in this or any other world. And I think I may have hit upon the perfect formula:

Had the new amp installed and now all speakers are hooked up and tuned, even to two new tower speakers. Not as pretty as some, but now clean.
If its not a competition ski boat, its always second best.

Let’s just say, I have about 1/2” to spare between the light and the top of the door. I designed the garage around my old boat and made the doors 9’-9” high, as high as I thought I could go. They are 10’ wide so that’s not a problem. The new boat is 9’-8 1/2” from ground to top of tower light, on the tandem trailer.

Since we have many people that are part of the Buckeye Bash Crew in our area that have the 214/X14 platform, or have skied both the 205 and the 214, I would suggest more opinions than mine. That would be Mark, Jeff, Rob, Ty, Brian.
There are many factors because even my 94 205, with tower weight and Acme 541, seemed different than OHIOPRO205's 94 205 with OJ prop and no tower. He would say mine was harder.
Now we compare 93ProStar190's 214 "ski" boat with stock prop, the MCX 350, mini tower and no tanks to my X14 with the Acme 1281, heavier tower, heavier LY6 with heavier tranny, and tanks, and I think mine is worse than his.
Position off is also critical because of the 20 something hump.
Only way to know for sure is for you to come to Buckeye Bash next year and ski all of them, because we have them all.

My shop is big enough and 12' high but the doors are only 8' wide . Don't know what the previous owner was thinking when he built the place. It was finished inside and painted but not insulated , go figure .I insulated and put in a radiant tube heater , lots of lighting and fresh paint. If she don't shine , she ain't mine

Bad planning. But I know you can fit in 8’, but remove your trailer pole pads and expect the poles to rub.If its not a competition ski boat, its always second best.

I use a gas mask. You can't do it without one or a respirator, rubber gloves too.
Starbrite has a reduced acid product that I tried to find info one but I didn't trust it
