Looks like 20 minutes worth of work.

Well I was saying 20 minutes for a 50 year old so I guess he can have 25 minutes. LOL!

              • Oiled the teak (2x) on the platform for the first time (bought new in fall '10 and stored inside all winter). Looks like I may have to re-apply later this summer. But big improvement...

                • finally installed my 2 nd battery and isolator. Awesome being able to play music all day without the fear of the boat not starting.

                  • Put the first coat of paint on my new winch stand which was built to replace the stupid retaining strap on my '89. Pictures are coming.

                    • I took the trailer and boat off blocks yesterday. This weekend it comes out of the barn. I've never ever been this late getting it wet.

                      • Finally replaced the two switch panels that were broken. Whoever designed the switches needs to be taken out and shot in the kneecaps. Those little springs and the little copper piece not being connected is the worst design I have ever seen.

Anyway, dash looks like new now. The panels I had made really look good. Don't have to look at the broken corners on them now.

                        • I put these stainless steel rollers on my trailer.

I need to do the same thing, post broke completely off, I just have not had time to get it done. What was the price to have it re-welded? How long of a job is it? Thanks for any input!

$110 for welding the post and welding the lug that spun. Included in that is the $50 charge for lifting my boat.

I welded my posts with the boat in place. Used plenty of plywood to shield the boat.
