One update that was neither planned, nor fun... Damaged a prop the other day. Decided I better get another one, as it will likely happen again (B.O.A.T. could not be more true). On the recommendation of my service department, decided to go with an ACME 3493 (18x15.5) instead of the original OJ 846 (18x16). Had not thought the fully loaded launch was wanting with the stock prop, but wow, it now seems effortless. Just got the OJ back from repair, but not planning to put it back on unless (until?) I have to.Jerry

Finally Upgraded to FAE
Happy Birthday/Father's Day from my family was the Fresh Air Exhaust I've been drooling over for a couple years.
It came and is now installed! We get to go try it out tomorrow.
The only hard part was that MasterCraft installed my drain plug with the screws about 5 degrees off level. It doesn't look like much but it sure makes a difference at the mounting points for the FAE. I had to pull the drain plug flange, epoxy the holes and re-drill them level.2004 X-30 5.7L MCX

Designed and printed a third remote mount. Removed the pylon years ago and always had a hole. Decided to mount another remote so the rear passenger can control the volume while watching everyone surf.
V2.
I'll see if it lives through the weeks Powell trip.

It holds up great when printed in the correct material for the application, this is printed from PETG, basically the same base material that a clear water bottle is made from. Very strong, semi flexible and UV stable. I also print out all the Tsunami wake gates out of the same material, the one I've been using on my boat is almost 5 years old.
I have a bunch of small gadgets and doodads on my boat that have been printed.

Just got the last piece to the puzzle, yesterday. I did a 500 hour service which included the following:
New Spark Plugs
New Distributor Rotor and Cap
New Belt
New Impeller and Water Pump Seal
New Knock Sensor Plugs
New J house (metal vs rubber)
While I was in there, I also gave the engine a detail by polishing all the pulleys, touching up some paint, adding rubber covers to all the hose clamp ends and putting an aluminum pulley on the alternator. Most probably would not even notice the difference, but my OCD is satiated for a little while.

I might need to do a similar round when i hit that hour mark.
Looks like you have a 2nd layer of carpet in your boat? How does that work ? Looks like a really unique idea.
