Calibrate the PP to the RPM mode and add 600 lbs for the variable in calibration. Works like a lucky charm.

Get a second person to drive while you set the calibration points at each speed. Much easier (almost required) while putting in the set points on the instrument.

I put my module inside the dash. Out of sight and easy to install. I just laid it in and secured it with a few zip ties.

I set the puck on the inside of the windscreen and ran the wire down through the dash vent right into the inside of the dash pod. It will pick up the satellite signal through the windscreen.

Photograph and record the model, date, and serial number of the module for future updates without having to go inside the dash to get the info. I ran a dedicated USB port from the module to the outside area for easy access to put in the USB drive for the updates. Takes all of 10 minutes.

If your OEM pitot pick-up tubes become available, I'd be interested in them. Thanks.

Been rather busy getting ready for summer Downunder while we are in lockdown with nowhere to go. I purchased this boat for the right price knowing the work needed and seeing as we have been in lockdown it has been great to have a winter project to do.
The list so far:

• Replaced all bearings, and brake shoes on trailer.
  Replaced all the tyres.
  Replaced bunks on the trailer, new wood, new carpet new stainless bolts.
  Sanded and repainted rust spots on the trailer.
  Replaced perished rubber brake lines.
  Replaced wiring on the trailer and ran it through the trailer channels for a cleaner look.
  Made Mastercraft decals for trailer and installed with new white pinstripes.
  Removed Boat buddy and repaired/welded broken spring retainers and bent strike bar, and replaced missing springs.
  Replaced Windshield support struts - were broken by PO.
  Replaced heater ducting to vents, replaced broken heater vent.
  Replaced bilge vent hose and transom vent hose.
  Installed booster pump on the heater for more water flow and hopefully more heat -12v Solar hot water pump connected to heater switch.
  Installed LED strip lights with door activated switch inside the storage area behind the passenger seat so we can see the black neoprene gear inside for those early morning runs.
  Replaced lifting struts on the passenger seat and engine cover.
  Replaced shower pump with higher volume pump - now 21l/m and no longer a dribble but an actual shower.
  Repaired the keel where the previous owner had worn off the gell coat from beaching it. About to wetsand and polish the underside of the hull to hopefully prevent/slow down the brown oxidation from the water.

Projects still to complete in the next month:
Order and install a Steady Pass Controll unit
Install the tower mounted Barefoot Boom
Oil change and general lube service, wash and polish hull, and scrub carpet and upholstry.

Finally fill up with fuel and hit the water and hope all this work was worth it...

3rd oil change of the year. Never had to do that before. But an epic summer, broke triple digit hours for the first time! Having a really nice stretch of weather the last few days here in SE Michigan. Gonna enjoy one last weekend before fall returns. Pulling her out next Saturday, unfortunately.

Time for new brakes on trailer, did them last time in 2010. Broken shoe due to bent hold down spring.. cant complain, 149 shipped for left/right set from pacifictrailer.com

Today I poured two gallons of -50 antifreeze into the MCX and changed the PCV valve. This winter I’ll change the transmission and fuel filters, steam the carpets and chase an electrical short in the lighting.

Ordered my Steadypass kit a week or so ago, just waiting for them to ship it ( the wait is killing me). I will take some photos once I receive it and have it installed.
