Proof that MasterCraft and Malibu people can be friends. They had to be towed in last week and won't be back until 4th of July. Figured I'd save him some down time and had him ship the pump to me. I went down, checked fuel pressure - 35 lbs - toast, installed the pump, new fuel filter and cleaned the screen on fuel pressure regulator. Of course I had to water test and take a swim break with a coldy. Malibu fuel pumps are WAY easier to swap out than MasterCraft's in tank scenario. Whole thing took less than an hour to repair. That Malibu just doesn't look right behind my truck. However, the swim session was worth it.

The 94 is going to a nice boat when I'm all done. Rebuild the trans and put in a new long block and it's running great! So good that I can now turn my attention to the cosmetic side of things!-Tim

My OEM cover was looking pretty bad after 3 seasons of outdoor (albeit under roof) use 24/7. The north side had literally turned green with algae.
I laid it out on the dock, wet it down and scrubbed with a brush using simple green. I then tossed it into the lake and rinsed it off. That huge thing about drowned me!
I then let it air dry for a few days before applying 303 Marine Fabric Guard. Should be good for a few more seasons.

Finally got around to making a new table out of my old platform teak strips I had left over from replacing the end pieces last year. All the extra holes are from the roofing nails and such that the last owner had used to secure the loose/broken pieces before I replaced them—ouch, but now just a funny memory for me!
May have to rethink storage so close to those PP wires, haha. Also took the folding hinges off my old table, put a noodle on it, and it makes a great floating table!3 Photos

Installed a trash bin on the X25. Intended to do this to my X2. There is a bunch of space between the cooler and the ballast tank under the stern corner seat. So, right out of the gate I cut the bottom off of a recessed cup holder, hole saw for the cup holder and trimmed the top edge of a $3.00 bin from Wal-Mart to clear the handle bracket of the cooler. The trimmed part is actually an unthought of happy accident; it holds the bin in place nicely. I'm still searching for a larger bin that is more rectangular. The one I have is 2.5 gallon and a regular plastic grocery bag works great as a liner.Last edited by neil.anderson63; 07-13-2022, 03:09 PM.Screws fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place.

When ever you are drilling or hole sawing gelcoat, always put down some of that blue masking tape and start the drill in reverse until you get through the gelcoat. I helps prevent the gelcoat from splintering.Screws fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place.

Tim - Thank you for the tip. I ran the drill in reverse to start the hole. Realized I didn't have tape when I got to the boat. As for the tape; I had the tape set out at home and forgot it when my dog ran after a jogger in front of my house. No joggers or my dog were harmed! She is part Cattle dog. Cattle dogs can't resist joggers, bikes, skateboards, scooters...
Glad it all worked out for you!-Tim
