Looks good. Those would look nice on my recently refurbished 30 yr old trailer.

I spent most of Saturday adding the 8 and 4 channel Klipsch amps I acquired months ago to my XT22. I wasn’t in any rush and this hardly something I do regularly but I needed a job to justify my recent cordless drill purchase. I think I spent about 6 hours total crawling around inside the observer’s storage area. I’m 5’11” 190ish and fit with just barely enough room to move around.

It was educational and a little nerve wracking undoing all of the neat bundles of cables. I took dozens of photos along the way in case I really screwed something up.

I started with a single 8 channel amp and the ASA control box. I can see why people take the entire board out. Doing this vertical jigsaw puzzle was not easy but I am happy with how it turned and better yet, the stereo still plays.

I still have to fully figure out the wiring needed to bridge my two tower speakers, add in a pair of 7” cabin speakers and a second sub but I feel like the hard part is done. I paid a local stereo shop to mount the new sub and 7” speakers.

Here are some photos from the job.

It’s being a busy winter upgrading a few things on our boat! It’s finally coming together.

Wife wanted space to eat...lost the battle over eating in the boat. But instead of filling cup holders with crumbs, figured I’d try to design a little table—and today I finished it up and tried it out!

Tell a little more please. Parts, material(s)?

                            So far I like it.

Spent some time on Amazon trying to find flip up hinges that would fit inside the cup holders and a long center leg that would also flip closed. Cut some dowels to fit down in the base of the cup holders—and that was it! Everything is flat when stored, and fits tight when I open it and put the legs in.

Here are links! (Probably won’t last long given the provenance of the sellers, if you know what I mean!)
