Crack in Center ballast Tank.

Hrkdrivr, so far so good, I have been riding with factory and pro ballast again. I will give an update when I get more time on this fix.

Subscribed! My (new to me) 06' X-30 is great but after about the 3rd time surfing I notice I would bilge shortly after filling the KGB. I haven't had time to trouble shot the leak but it sounds like this is the culprit.

X2 2014 - KGB ballast crack

We today also discovered a small crack on the upper edge of the center / KGB ballast (2014 X2).

When the center ballast pump is running, water/air mixture is pressuring out of the crack.

Is it normal that the pressure builds up that much, and it's not venting out of the overflow hose?

We patched part of the crack with a piece of 3D printed plastic and PVC glue. Its holds well, but I am still puzzled why there is so high pressure inside the tanks.
