what saftey switch lanyard thingy do i need to buy??

hey everyone i picked up an old 1988 tristar 190 and i am missing the safety switch lanyard thingy and i don't no what it looks like. can anybody point me in the right direction on where to get the correct one to fit my stock OEM panel .right now the switch is just jumped in behind the dash.

try overtons... if you know the type or great lakes skipper to replace entire assembly...or even jamestown distributors....

here is a pic of what my switch looks like and can i just get the cap thingy and lanyard somewhere ?? or should i just replace the whole unit ?

I would leave it jumped or replace with a simple on/off toggle switch - would be a theft preventer if it was not marked. Does anybody really attach it to themselves in case they get thrown out of a MC! It must be based on boat length as we also have a SeaRay 24' Sundeck and it has a simple on/off switch as the kill switch. Understand the need on a CC boat or PWC but not on an MC.

here's the whole switch and lanyard...for what you'll pay for frieght... you can get a whole new switch and lanyard...ask www.skidim.com to mail... they are good about that for small stuff.
