                  I may have used the wrong term - I was referring to the hose section from the log to the packing seal. Mine is looking pretty bad.

                  I do have the Powerslot, so not quite as much room to work but still a pretty easy repair. I replaced my packing last year with the Gore material, very satisfied with it. Just a slight drip but the shaft runs very cool.

                    Oh yeah. That hose was looking very poor on my boat as well. I replaced it when I dropped the shaft to do the bearings.

                        Thanks for the compliments guys! I got the new packing installed this morning and went ahead and replaced all of my blower and exhaust hoses while I had the rear panel out. Heading to the lake now to check the repair and get a few slalom runs in!!! Sunny 68 here!
