This is a job I've been putting off...
Since I use a lift I just run bilge to clear water, but I get a good leak around that shaft log.
I was initially hoping I could pull the shaft and pop the plate out, slather in 5300 and shove it back in place, but I think I'll have to go whole hog.Comment

Yeah there's really no way to band aid the leak because it originates under the log plate which is covered by the fiberglass mat. So u have to go all in to fix the root problem. Just my 2 cent
