  • Starboard bow vent

There is what appears to be a vent on the starboard bow just in front of the windscreen. Can someone tell me what purpose this serves? Apart from being a vent? The grease paper screen in mine seems old and loose and I don't know if it needs attention. Thanks.

Don't ask me. I have a slightly older boat and have vents on both sides that also has tubes the same as my blowers tubes but they aren't even attached to anything. Literally a vent with vent tubes going to nothing. I too would like an explanation.

It's your horn, hold your ear real close and have someone press the red horn button at the helm

I'll get the girlfriend to lend her ear on the weekend and post the video results.

Very observant. Loosened them to clean.

Those tubes should go to an opening in the floor along your walkthru wall( in storage area of course)It lets air flow through the boat and dry out te bilge area. It also pushes air towards the engine and lets it be sucked out the rear blower vents keeps engine fumes out of bay.
