  • 2002 switch replacement

The ballast and dash switch lettering is completely worn off on my 2002 xstar. Anyone know where to get a replacement set of switches?

I have the same issue with our X-9. I sent off an email to Mastercraft the other day asking if replacements are available, and where to get them, from the factory or order them through my local dealer. Just checked and no reply as yet. I will post their response when received. There is a seller on eBay called "Great Lakes Skipper" that also sometimes lists them.

My local dealer had switches a few years back when one of my kids broke one. But for my application the lettering didn't work and they only had one type. I ended up using acetone to wipe the letters off. has never bother me that it doesn't say anything. It is an unused switch and may be an issue if it was for something specific.

        Keep an eye on ebay,
Had the same problem and it took a while but I bought a few from dajarvis2828 on ebay-- looks like he is away right now-
Great lakes skipper has some on ebay as well but they were pretty expensive.

You should be able to find the switch cover as they snap off for replacement so dont need to replace the whole switch. Might try wakemakers.

The local dealer in Kalispell MT sells them for $3 a pop (just the cover).

              Switch Covers where to find

I need help finding these. Can't seem to find ones with curve in them. Blank is ok.
All I need is TWO each with different curve., or will have to replace all 6.
ideas welcome. I"ve looked on couple threads and best I can find is 6 new blank ones that are not curved.

                Great Lakes Skipper (www.greatlakesskipper.com)

                Search for "Mastercraft Ballast Switches"

                I just replaced all of mine 2 years ago. I have a 2002 X30.

                They are about $7 ea.

You can buy almost any standard 2 or 3 position switch, some come with a tool that you can clip off the front cover and put your originals on the new switches.
If you need new covers, I don't know about that one.

you can go here and create your own ... this is my other spring project

Rocker switch covers (actuators) are the top of a two part switch... it's the part that rocks as you press the switch.  All our actuators easily snap onto any of our rocker switch bodies found here.  There are no lights in the actuators, only lenses that allow the lamps/LEDs in the switch body to pass light through
