'13 X30 cushion pops up when trailering

I have a '13 X30 and while trailering my passanger long cushion pops up. Is this common any tricks to keep it from doing it?

Are you talking about the bow area or the cockpit area? If you're talking about a cushion in the cockpit, are you closing the air dam between the bow and cockpit? My back cushions will blow up if I don't have the doorway closed.

Talking about the cockpit. Talking about the long bench. I have closed the air dam and left it open and it does it both ways.

I added velcro under the seat cushion. I also put stuff on that middle part of the rear bench seat so it doesn't fly out.

hmm... im not sure I have the same mechanism you do, but mine never does this.

Ill post a pic of mine when I can. Not that big of a deal because I usually have my surf boards on top so nothing flys out just very odd.

My ‘12 does this. I think the struts are slightly higher force than required so a good bounce or two opens the cushion enough that the struts open it all the way. I’ve thought about sizing the struts down or attaching a little more mass to the seat bottom, but haven’t done anything yet. On long drives I disconnected one strut and that kept it from opening

Wonder if the shocks are bad. Mine looks the same and is hard to pull up.
