I wanted to share this recent purchase with everyone here and see if anyone has any comments or advice for me as I go through the restoration process. I purchased this boat at the beginning of October 2020. It was owned by a local marina who used it as a leisure boat rental for the previous summer (don’t ask me why, I don’t understand it either). The port side fiberglass and windshield have some pretty good damage. The story I heard involved an incident with a dock in a heavy storm. This boat has just over 800 hours on the corvette LT-1 which was apparently rebuilt at some point. I’m having the marina look into getting me more information about this rebuild but in the meantime I know that the compression is good in all cylinders. This boat runs amazingly well, it is mostly cosmetic issues that I need to deal with. I have already started removing the oxidation but there is still more polishing that needs to be done. My biggest issue is finding a windshield for it. I will probably make another post dedicated to this issue to see if anyone can help out but if anyone can help here, it is much appreciated. I am also looking to get new decals which I can always have replicated (if need be) by a local graphic designer who did a great job with the decals on my 1994 Maristar 225 VRS. I am doing my best to restore this boat back to the way it was in 1997 because it was already a perfect family ski boat. I'll do my best to post updates along the way.

One shot might be Copart Auctions? Pull up their website and search MasterCraft. For the cost of an OEM replacement by Taylormade (if even possible) you might find an entire trashed out boat for less money, salvage the windshield and whatever else and get whatever $$ you can from the remaining scraps.

Overall condition looks pretty good. Staining easy to take care of.
Interior looks good.
Taylormade windshield will be some $s if you have to go that way.
How bout some pics of glass damage...zoomed in and can't see it. Assume it is windshield pulling out.

Yes it goes to the heater as the cooling system was reworked at one point. Luckily I'm friends with the mechanic at the marina that I bought the boat from and he told me that it was to address a cooling issue. The aluminum heads in the LT1 are susceptible to damage from overheating but the issue was caught before any harm could be done.1994 Maristar 225 VRS
