You may want to take look at my post #13 and #14 to see how I fixed my floor boards.

    • I transported the new Ridged Rub Rail to the house last night it only comes in 20' sections so it took three of them. They came well packaged in a plastic tube to prevent damage in shipping.

Looking forward to seeing the rail a little closer.

        I like the Blazer also.

        • I installed the windshield screw cover last night I was asked about this in a earlier post.
I used a 3/4" X 1/2" X 25' Sponge Neoprene closed cell stripping. I bought it on amazon $16.90 (0840260019547) I did not remove the slick paper backing that covered the adhesive on the back of the stripping this allowed it to slide into place with out hanging up and the fit was perfect.
The first photo shows the original and the replacement stripping side by side.

          • Thank you.

Logistically (looking back) would you have preferred to mount the wind screen before setting the deck back onto the hull?

            • After putting the deck back on the hull the gap around the connection point was up 1/2 wide along the side windows this gap had to be pulled back together with two very small screw jacks that I made to squeeze the joint together before setting the rivets. This caused a lot of flexing in the side glass mounting area. Mounting the Windshield after the deck was secured to the hull is the only way I would done it. The windshield fasteners are accessible from under the deck and under the gunnels takes about 30 minutes to do it.

I wanted to install a cut off valve on the water inlet threw hull fitting. To make this work I ended up having to re thread the the end of the brass threw hull fitting with a 1 inch NPT die. The thread pitch was the same it just needed to be tapered to allow the valve to screw all the way down. The exhaust system is in. and I am working on the blower hose that runes to the back of the boat. I replaced all the hose clamps on the entire boat with Breeze liner clamps they are by far the best clamps I have ever used made in USA and they do not chew up your new hoses and the screw assembly does not move when you tighten them.

I'm just trying to see if I'm going to be in town for the first ride!! But headed to NYC tomorrow, home the 14th, then to work on the 15th until Dec 14th. That means I'll miss the first ride if he gets it in the water before the end of November

                                Looks great.

I am going to come get the engine stand. I thought I could find a person coming that way. I'll make a run down there soon. Will call you.
