Like you said, BETTER than new. And you accomplished that. Congratulations on the beautiful restoration. Your wife did a great job on the decals. Looks great and should enjoy for many years. Definitely one of the best resto threads I have seen. Next; post in pics that make you happy!

I found (Gates #27006) J30r7 at a local O,REILLY Auto Parts they have it in stock cost $3.29 a foot it is made of Nitrile rubber in side and out and should hold up submerged fuel. The clamps need to be a little larger also the new hose is a little larger on the outside.
It would have been nice to find some J30r10 this size but I do not think they make it in 1/2"

"I do agree with your thinking on the screen on the end of the pick up and almost removed it during the rebuild. The rubber hose that is used to connect it was hard to source it had to be rated for fuel submerge." Also needing to replace the rubber hose. Were did you find 1/2" J30r10 submersible hose? I have the exact same boat so when you finish and want to start on another just let me know [email protected]

    Hi Bret
It could be next weekend, I just finished up putting the graphics on the boat, Plan A was to get them made at Domed Numbers I left a message and email they just never called me back.So I moved on to Plan B asked my wife to make them for me and here are some photos of the finished product.
