Here (or similar) is the same product under a different brand/seller. There are four pads in this kit. I used it and retro-fitted my 93 190; driver - bottom and back, passenger (turned landscape orientation) back and bottom. Works like a champ.

Just figure where you want the wiring to exit the seat location for ease of routing to a switch, then install with that in mind.

Any seat that raises, work the orientation of the pad to where the pig tail will be close to the hinge point for raising the seat.

Easy peasy.

I will say this as a tip... if you (or the installer) run a wire(s) across an area of the seat cover (sometimes near the exit point), use an Exacto knife (or similar) to cut a small trench or slot in the foam for the wire to lay in. Makes it a much nice fit. Nothing complicated at all. A serrated knife blade works best when cutting foam...makes it a breeze and very nice edges. A straight edge, not so much, particularly on larger cuts. I use an electric bread knife with the serrated edge blade for large (thick) cuts.

For the best install, make sure the installer lays in a thin layer or pad between the foam and the vinyl cover (regardless of the heat pad). Some installers do, some do not.

Regardless of the cuts in the foam, the pads will find a home and settle in nicely once they are installed; especially with the thin padding between them and the seat cover. You'll never know they are there until you turn them on. I wallow all over my passenger's seat with my knees, etc...these pads are tough. No problems at all for me.

Thank you, really appreciate the insight. Full transparency, I thought about it early on, but then decided against it. Your post has me reconsidering, but I may be too late. Will need to call the shop, see where they're at and confer with the better half.

Oddly enough, I have the same... I used an older (OEM) slotted board for skiers and then I have the solid board like yours for fun. I thought I was the odd duck.

Most of my friends ski with both feet in the ski so they put the ski on and scoot off the board.

I drag a foot so all I have to do is step off the board, no scuffing. They win out though.

I absolutely do not mind at all. They should also have the MASTERCRAFT logo for the back of the rear bench seat. Please use them.

Hoglunds did my captain's chair seat heaters too. Just left the wires coming out the bottom of the seat. I wired it up to a switch.

Yup yup, doing that with the same thread color. Did you run your captains chair heating pad wiring down through the seat base under the Deckadence, or does it simply exit on the starboard side flooring and run up behind the throttle/armrest façade? Where did you mount your switch? Just texted the shop to see if there's still time.

Both set of wires (there are 2 sets of 2 wires) run thru the seat base and terminate in 2 separate 2-pin connectors. The mating wiring harness comes down the throttle/armrest behind and under the cup holders. Right now I do have the the wires going under the Deckadance. My seat base is low and it hides the wires. The switch is between the cup holder and the little cubby-hole where I keep my car keys and wallet.

Thanks, that's helpful. Spoke with David this afternoon and I'm going to move forward with captain's and observer pad install at a minimum, but he's got to verify that he can cut down the captain's seat base small enough to not impact resistance due to the bolster. He's going to check specs, measure and call me back tomorrow. I'm halfway tempted to just have them do the whole install, and while his labor estimate is reasonable, scope creep obviously directly impacts budget. On the other hand, I don't have the expertise or feel like personally messing with the observer side as the seat base and back are two pieces, which will require a disconnect, proper loom, switch positioning, etc.. Nike's old slogan keeps running through my head.

Nah, self-inflicted movement of the goal posts. These guys have been top notch. You had me at "while you're at it" on the pads and so ensues the change order.

The net of it is the budget is not infinite, yet there is always more you can do.
