  • Anyone using krypt quick release board racks?

I need a third set of racks for my boat. I'm looking at these krypt racks. They are a little over $100 on ebay. Anyone have any experience with them or any other options?

I haven't used that one specifically, but I have one of their surf racks, which I bought through OI. Works great and hasn't slipped, BUT I will say the finish is junk. My boat is garage kept, but even after one season it started to pit. It saw a few thunderstorms on a couple of houseboat trips and that's all it took.

I know a guy who had the same experience with his Krypt rack. So I opted for a Roswell brand surf/wake combo rack from h20sportswharehouse.com. Wasn't too expensive and I leave mine outside 24/7 in a slip. It still looks new.

I am a little late on this but just to add for future searchers, The krypt finish is not up to par. The racks are solid and simple but their machining and finished product is much to be desired.

Check out diywake.con. Almost identical looks and function. However much better finish and customer service.
