  • 95-98 Prostar tower - What brand is this??

I recently bought a Mastercraft Prostar and looking for the right tower. I have been doing some research and came across this tower.

Does anyone know the brand / company that makes this tower? Its seems to fit the boat nicely.

Any info is helpful. Thank you in advance.

New Dimensions. I have the same tower on my 205. These look great on Prostars and the Bimini is awesome because you can stand up straight beneath it.

The guys are correct that is a New Dimensions mini tower. Very high quality, silent and yet easy to fold. The integrated bimini top is also super nice and tight. No nylon straps flapping any any speed.

If you are into surfing consider their kneeboard rack for one side. It is long and wide enough I can get two wakesurfers in it. I have been able to get both an Inland Surfer Red Rocket and a Blue lake into the rack at the same time and they are big thick boards. Pictured is a Red Rocket and a Grindwater wakesurf board in the kneeboard rack.

I also have the wakeboard rack for the other side however it is not in these photos.

That is the exact setup I want. Your boat looks amazing.

Any leads on how to order the mini tower? Should I just call them bc it doesn't look like you can order the mini online?

                  Also is the mini cheaper?

If you don't mind me asking what did your full setup run you? I am looking I do the exact same set up.

                  - Mini tower
                  - Bimini top
                  - wakeboard rack on one side
                  - wakeskate/wakesurf rack on the other

Thanks for all the info everyone.

Thats the only tower I would put on a PS 190, really looks great. I did a little research on the ND mini a year or so ago. With all the options you want I'm guessing at least $4K

I bought ours 3 yrs ago with most options including lighted tow point, wake and surfboard racks, prewired for speakers and bimini top with Sunbrella fabric and it was right about $4,000 shipped.

I worked directly with the factory which was less expensive than going through my local dealer. Did the install in my garage by myself in just a couple days. Best investment we have made for the boat. Great product, no complaints.

One tip is you will need a tower rest when it is folded on closed bow boat or the tow point will rest directly on the gelcoat.

I cut a piece of plastic conduit at the angle of the bow. It has a computer mouse pad glued to the bottom of it to not scratch the boat.. There is a piece of pipe insulation (what they ship the tower in) inside the conduit so it fits snugly over the tow point yet protects the light on top.

See included photo.... Note the tower is only folded once in the photo to fit my 8' tall door opening. The legs fold again to fit under a 7' door opening also.

Is the install relatively easy? My local dealer quoted $3200 for a mini mounted on my '01 PS190. New Dimension's website says $2299 plus shipping (couple hundred). Figure I could use the extra $ for accessories.

Install isn't to bad, need 2 people for sure. Took my brother and I about 3 hours to get its installed an the wires ran for the speakers... Could probably do it faster now that we know how to do it.

I need to know the height of the tower at the highest point when folded and on the trailer please.

I do not own that boat any longer however it did fit in my upper garage which has an 8' door openings when it was folded once as seen in my post above. My lower garage has a 7' tall door opening and the boat would fit with the 2nd pivot point at the end of the rear legs folded down like in the photo below. If I had to guess with the rear legs folded the tower sits about 8" above the windshield of the boat.

That was on a factory MC trailer with the torsion spring suspension. Not sure if a leaf spring suspension trailer would be any taller or not.
