'05 X-10 Tower Speaker Issues

the two tower speakers on the right appear to have normal volume... while the the two left speakers appear to have half of the volume or less.. could this be an amp issue? are the speakers blown... is it a power issue? balance is set equally, tightened all connections and have new battery this year.. definitely not a radio guy, any suggestions
