Severe Tire Rub Issue

I have used all the trailer companies for various parts - but the springs should be ordered from northern tool. Using the part number in the thread. That is what I did.

Which part number are you referring to? The link that Peter posted that took me directly to Northern tool or is there another part number you are referencing?

From what I can see, I think the axle is bent. That would explain the extreme tire wear you are experiencing. Axles are often bent from having the trailer too far into the water so that the tires fall off the end of the cement pad and having to give a good yank to get it back up on top when pulling out. The trailer may have come that way. I would do some careful measuring to verify this.

I was referring to measuring for the proper size axle as they come in different widths.

I changed the link I posted for the axle packages. I intended to link the axle section at Northern, but it took me two attempts. Must be Monday.

When we measured our leaf springs last night, they were with the boat on the trailer. We measured them from eye to eye and they are 27". My hubs thinks we need 28" but I noticed the Northern Tool shows a 27" spring. What do you guys think?
