  • Replacing Ramp N Clamp With Roller Type ?

I destroyed my Ramp N Clamp on my 2009 MC Trailer recently. We have a super steep boat access ramp and sometimes takes a little extra juice to get th e2009 Prostar loaded. My thought is to replace it with one of the orange plastic ones I see on the newer MC trailers. Has anybody done this ? otherwise I am thinking about the newer version of the Ramp N Clamp. Thanks for info on this.

Not the same year but I replaced my Boat Buddy with this:

Works great. Just make sure you get the proper sized roller to fit between the 2 posts.

Another option if you want an auto-latch is a Drotto. I have an older trailer, but replaced my old Boat Buddy with it this fall, when I pulled the boat out for the winter. I haven't really used it yet, but it's a solid replacement option too.
