  • Prop suggestion for 14 x10

    Hi there,

I have a 2014 X10 and I need a new prop. The "old" one will need to go to the repair shop and she will be the spare after that. There are a lot of old threads about OJ vs Acme but I didn't find an applicable new one that fit my situation.

I mainly surf but I like to wakeboard too. I do some recreational skiing but I haven't even thought about slaloming behind the new boat. Top speed isn't a priority as I don't see any bare footing in my future.

Which specific prop would people recommend? Thanks for your input!

I've been researching this and I think this would be the right prop. Thoughts?

ACME's 2241 4-Blade Propeller offers more surface area than comparable 4-Blade propellers which means better power transmission, speed holding, and higher fuel economy. And thanks to the precision machined manufacturing process, ACME propellers offer more precision, which means every prop will perform up to standards t

I have a 14 x10, and have been wrestling with the same question. My dealer only has OJ in stock so I demoed a 14.25x14.5 a week ago, and it was great. It held for surfing way better, jumped out of the hole, and could push the weight better. I switched back to my stock prop, and the boat feels sluggish, and slow. I would love to try the acme 2241, just haven't found an easy way for me to demo it here.
