Late spring CO ski trip

I’m going to Copper next month. My favorite place to ride in Summit County. A very close second (although not in Summit Co) is Winter Park. As long as Berthoud Pass isn’t too sketchy, that would be an ideal place to go. Very many long, mellow blue runs, and since it isn’t in Summit County right off of I-70, the lift lines would be much shorter.

Yeah, we really like Winter Park. Looking to try something new this go around. Found some relatively cheap lodging right at Keystone, thinking a staying there and maybe ski Keystone one day and A-basin another.

Just got back from 4 days in Telluride. I typically ski 10-15 days a year but had never been to Telluride. It was amazing. We had 30" of fresh snow and very little lift lines. Terrain was awesome especially if you up for a short hike. Lot's of blues mixed with more challenging stuff. You can stay in town and catch the gondola or stay up in the village. Everything is very convenient.

We flew into Telluride, but you can also fly into Montrose and get a shuttle.

Hi Brian, ski A basin, with the recent snow it should be fine. I skied in early January but they lacked some snow but told myself I would be back. The Beavers area should have snow now, also drop in to Copper. 1 Day Copper, and then A basin, you will have a great trip. Take me with you if you want a 3rd wheel.

arrived at the CVG airport only to find out my Delta flight was canceled … no flight crew … got on my Delta 360 number and they were able to route me to Denver … no worries I’ll figure it out from there

no shuttle service … couldn’t make the train … no flights today .. no wait I was able to buy a United flight at 7:00 tonight

We go to check in … wouldn’t let me … crap i bought it for May 13 not March 13 … yes i was rushing this morning …. Dumbarse mistake

but … Uber to the rescue … Mohammed is now driving us from Denver to Steamboat!

3 feet of snow in last 10 days ... and I was out first thing this morning!!!
