Brighton over Solitude all day, every day! Only kind of kidding. I was up there Monday and Tuesday and there was tons of snow to be played in. After all this powder, I'm honestly craving a solid groomer day. Am I crazy?

It's our last day at Red mountain. This is my third trip here, and I still haven't gotten a good powder day. Snow isn't bad for no new snow (if you stay high up). Lift lines are non existent, which is awesome for presidents day weekend (and friends day for Canada). Flights through Denver were horrible on the way out due to their storm last Wednesday, but we got through barely and got no sleep that night. Overall it's been a great family trip even without powder.
Woke up this morning to 17" of snow in my driveway, and it's still coming down! That's a pretty crazy figure for the SLC valley. I think the resorts got around 24". Most jobs and all schools are "canceled" today (Canceled in quotes due to zoom. Thanks covid lol). More snow = more water, I'm not complaining.

Hopefully All this will get some of our lakes back up to par. We got 8" in the Portland Metro Area. Shut down the city as usual. Many just parked their car on the highway and walked. It took my employee 12 hrs to get home, normally would have been 30-45 mins.

That makes me scratch my head. Did it rain first? Was it 32 degrees so it was extra slippery? That's the worst.
We were in Eveleth MN last December for a youth hockey tournament. 10" of snow fell Sunday morning while we were playing our last game. We drove over 200 miles home on two lane roads, didn't think a lot about it.
Wow … 5 straight days at Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude … epic conditions … Tuesday we had 2 feet of fresh powder and Thursday at Snowbird was probably the best day of skiing in my life … a little tired now but having a nice Bloody Mary in the delta lounge heading home
Linda can now say she’s done some double black at Solitude Evergreen Chutes … she did great but did not want to go back fro a second run!
