Exactly what I have been saying. They did not pick the #2 team in the nation they picked the PC team. Deserve a SPOT you say? No one with one loss deserves a spot, period, end of story. UM is a better team no ifs and or butts.

As I have said I think the BCS did get it right.

I disagree, Florida beat 9 out of 10 bowl eligible teams and won their conference. They also have 1 more win than Michigan. Michigan is a great team no doubt, but Michigan should have never leap froged Florida in the polls to begin with. Hopefully, the Gators will silence all critics Jan. 8th.

Undefeated in 1A is undefeated in 1A football. If they are worthy of being in a 1A division and a BCS berth as undefeated they why not for all the marbles. I am not a Boise St. fan, but what can ya say. I believe Boise St. can hang with the best also. Whoever picked their color of playing surface should be hung though.

It remains to be seen if the best team and second best team are even in the big 10. While it is certainly admirable that OSU beat Texas it's luster was lost and soon as the Aggies dropped Texas a few weeks later, makes you say hmmmm??? Perhaps the three best teams in the country are Auburn, Florida and OSU. I saw the highlights from Indiana and OSU and remember thinking "this OSU team is far from perfect".

A split in the big ten to allow a big 10 championship game is a step in the right direction meanwhile the overzealous OSU fans have choked on thier waffles for decades so thier exhuberance is as overdue as a John Cooper haircut.

Boise States coach Chris Peterson himself voted Boise State number 8 in the country. Now if your own coach doesn't have the audacity to vote them #2 then how on earth would you expect the rest of the coaches to? BTW Bill Callahan from Nebraska and Indiana's coach both voted them number 6 so who the hell knows.
