MSU wins big, would the real Spartans please stand up, Purdue beats the Bucks, and Smitty what the heck happened I thought when IU was on the goal line it was an automatic. Auburn should make the Campionship game if they don't get tripped up during the conference title game.Comment

The worst part of the MSU win was that now OSU MUST beat Michigan in order for Michigan not to be big 10 champs.
This Saturday is "The Big Game" OSU and U of M.

What did State put in Wisconsin's gatorade. Gotta give props to State for that win. My only disappointment is that it takes the Big 10 out of the BCS race.

The only time I cheer for the Buckeyes and they blow it. The only thing I hate more than a Buckeye are those damn boilermakers.
As for the Hoosiers, we hit rock bottom Saturday. 1st and goal on the 2 and we can't make it into the endzone. That was embarrassing. I never been so
after a game. Maybe we can bring the bucket home?

If MSU's QB hadn't gone down in the first half of the scUM game they would have beat them and I am pretty sure they would have beat the Bucks....but as Duffy used to say, "it is bad luck to be behind at the end of the game"

They play in the best conference in the country and are undefeated. USC has played only one good team all year. They are ranked #1 because their name is USC. And not The University of South Carolina !

The SE Conference is by far the toughest football conference in the NCAA. A very good Auburn team beat a pretty good Georgia team. As much as I am not an Auburn fan I would put them up against USC or Oklahoma.24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.Comment

Alex Smith rushes for a Big Ten freshman record 245 yards on 31 carries as IU defeats Purdue, 33-29, before 62,839 fans at Ross-Ade Stadium. The crowd was the largest in the state of Indiana for a football game at any level that season. Smith finishes the regular season with 1,475 rushing yards.

Alex Smith came out of a little town right across the border from my hometown. He got some serious hype back then and had he been taller than 5-8 he may have gone to the Pros.
