It's the most wonderful time of the year. I love the smell of turf in the morning. As a former IU player I am required to chime in on this football talk. Now before we start bashing the Hoosiers, just let me tell you that I am a fan of all college sports. However, my opinions as to some programs will come as no surprise to many. I can say with some dignity that we won our share of games when I played, a few bowls, but no National Championship. I look forward to the chat in the upcoming weeks. My pre-season prediction has Iowa winning the Big-10 and Georgia for the National Championship. Anyone else like to make a prediction other than your alma-mater?
Go IU!

Smitty; my wife is IU grad and loves IU sports. But lately it seems to be down a bit except for their soccer and now with Yeagley gone big pressure on the new coach, but I hear he will do well. Did you play with Andre Hall? Our son's were on the same soccer team for awhile.

Being a UT grad I will have to ask you to remove those obscenities! J/K
My boss is an Auburn grad. We use a software package that alerts us when something is down within our network. It sends an email and plays a sound. The sound I chose is Auburns fight song, since it represents something down. He didn't find it funny, but I haven't changed it yet...
It's all in good fun,
P.S. Love the pics FarmerTed!If my words don't make sense, try reading them backwards.

IU sports
Leroy,
Andre Hall is not a familiar name, but it is possible that I have played with him. I played from '90 to '94. As for athletics, the program is in limbo right now. They are actively seeking a new athletics director and have started a $75 million capital campaign for the athletic program that would include facility upgrades for football, basketball, and administration. The past 8 years have been painfull to watch the struggles over power in athletics. Some of you may of heard of Miles Brand. He was IU's former president and now head of the NCAA. If he had his way, the athletic department would be dissolved and the university would run the programs. (Just like Vanderbilt). Nobody wants the job at IU so the athletic program is running itself right now. Fortunetly our new school president is a big football fan and is spending a lot of time trying to rebuilding the program.
Enough talk, let's play some football!!!!
