I just don't understand the "romance" that the press and the BCS has with Florida. They have one loss just like a lot of other teams. The only difference is ............they lost at home to an unranked team!! Oh...i'm sorry, Mississippi is now ranked #25. The first time they have been ranked since 2003. At least the other 1 loss teams either lost on the road or to a highly ranked team or both. Texas : on road to #6 team. Texas Tech : on road to #5 team. USC : on road to #17 team. Oklahoma : at home, but to #1 team. Not that I think they are in the same league as the previously mentioned schools, but even Penn State's loss came on the road. This just goes to show that the BCS caters to the schools based on tradition, not the team they have that year. I just don't feel Florida should be in the Title Game this year, but they will probably get in just for the advertising and marketing. Hopefully Alabama takes care of business, and gets in."In conflict, straightforward actions generally lead to engagement, surprising actions generally lead to victory."

Great post, they are way overated no matter what that old coot on here constantly posts."Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. Yes is the answer."

NOT hating on the Gators, bby makes a very valid point
Pull your pants up there big boy, UT is the team to beat."Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. Yes is the answer."

The gay-tors are nothing special. If Ohio State had gotten beaten at home by Indiana, we would have never heard the end of it. I can't wait till next year when tebow is in the NFL and you never hear about him again.

As for you CP..................No one gave the Gators a chance against your beloved Luckeyes in 2006 and we all remember the 41-14 lashing...............
The fact is the SEC "IS the TOUGHEST" Conference at the present time and strength of schedule is a factor in the BCS Rankings................
Just in Case you forgot...............Your quarterback was running for his life all night...........

Any other college teams doing that EVERY WEEK??? I don't think so. You cannot argue that Florida is playing BETTER football than anyone in the Nation and if they beat Alabama they deserve to be in the National Championship Game PERIOD!!!

Florida = 3 ranked teams played
Texas = 4 ranked teams played
Oklahoma = 4 ranked teams played
Texas Tech = 4 ranked teams played
If you check the AP rankings....... I believe the Big 12 has 5 teams in the top 12 while the SEC only has 4 teams in the top 25. So the math points to the Big 12 being the top conference this year."In conflict, straightforward actions generally lead to engagement, surprising actions generally lead to victory."
